The installation of the Phoenix artwork at Fairfield Halls is a catalyst for a first public art event, joined up arts programme and parade to celebrate Croydon's art Scene with Chinese New Year.

We have been working hard throughout the Christmas period to ensure that Croydon's First Chinese New Year Parade for Sunday 7th Feb 2016 will be magnificent. We've got an exciting arts programme lined up thanks to support from local arts organisations and theatrical schools. Thank you to all who have backed the project so far. We're at 13%, which could get the lion dance and materials for arts workshops. Let's keep going, so please share this campaign out to your friends and families. Pledge a minimum of £10 and get a copper feather marked with your name on it. Everyone, get fired up for the Phoenix in 2016!
