Hi all, I hope you're keeping well and that you had a nice, sunny weekend. As noted in my last update, we didn't quite manage to produce a line of cleaned and re-printed t-shirts, but we have been working on other solutions. I'm delighted to share that we are putting a handy little toolkit together, full of different creative ways you can reuse t-shirts that have a big rotten logo on them, or are maybe just a little dated. Hello backers, It's me...again. Thanks for your patience. I've been working away in the background trying to get the t-shirts up to a certain standard, but I'm not happy at all with how they're turning out. Plastisol remover does take certain types of print off, but I've also had to invest in accetone to remove some types of print, -and an unsightly residue is often left on the t shirts. The fact that the t-shirts aren't looking great, coupled with the reality that it takes a few hours to do one single t-shirt, means this pilot project has been a failure. Woops, lesson learned. Thanks so much for your backing of this and I'm really sorry the outcome isn't a more positive one. The next step is one of 2 things: A) We can transfer your donation back ASAP. Hi all, A quick update on our t-shirt reuse project as I realised I hadn't updated in a month. We received all the equipment and we've been busy trying out different methods of print removal using environmentally-friendly print dissolver. Some have been successful, and some absolutely disastrous and stinking. We've also been playing around with printing, exploring lino-cut and block printing options. We should have our first t-shirts up for grabs on our website in the next few weeks. We'll offer each financial backer an online voucher to the value of your contribution.
