We are a Community Interest Company based in Aldridge delivering specialised mental and emotional health initiatives, courses and programmes, using numerous tools and techniques to deliver innovative solutions to the growing problem of emotional stress and mental health illness in the UK..
At our core is the desire to help individuals to gain knowledge and learn self-improvement tools, mental and emotional resilience skills, together with a range of soft skills specifically tailored to enhance their lives and opportunities, whilst increasing confidence, motivation and reducing social isolation. The confidence and positive feelings gained from our programmes are not 'quick fixes', but life altering practices.
We have been delivering specialised mental and emotional health keynotes, training, consultancy and coaching programmes for over 20 years to a wide range of sectors.These include the NHS, UK Armed Forces,schools, the public and private sector, individuals, parents and families.
We have designed and facilitated unique programmes, such as books for military familes and numerous training courses for organisations such as Mind, YMCA, Homestart, Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and also ran a Building Better Opportunties (BBO) programme, in conjunction with Steps to Work, helping individuals for five years.
In Walsall, we currently provide Project Me (funded by National Lottery Community Fund), which helps members of the community who are suffering with poor mental health or anxiety.We have also trained 60 Lean into Life Community Coaches who are helping to support their own ethnic communities with their mental health and wellbeing throughout the Black Country.
Our comprehensive courses provide individuals with knowledge, tools and techniques in order that they can develop healthy attitudes towards mental health and greater emotional resilience whilst strengthening their capacities to manage stress, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and other mental health issues.
The focus of our work includes; past trauma, reacting to challenges, keeping calm in moments of stress, daily mental and physical routines, self-calming techniques, coping with states of flux and transition, dealing with anxiety, accepting uncertainty, developing confidence, managing feelings, understanding the feelings of others, developing self-esteem, developing empathy, creating a new positive 'enhanced sense of normal'.
