The Garage space is a large concrete building at the back of We Are 336 Brixton Road that we intend to convert to a performance and workshop space for local children, young people and families to use.

Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.

Brixton Inclusive is a Lambeth based Inclusive Arts Charity, our organisation is aimed at disabled, diverse and disadvantaged children, young people and families. To advance the education of children and young people in Brixton and the surrounding areas in the art of inclusive theatre and performance in particular through the provision of inclusive performing arts workshops.

Brixton Inclusive is a Lambeth based Charity and was established in 2004 to advance the education of children, young people and support low income and disadvantaged families in Brixton, wider Lambeth and the surrounding areas through the provision of inclusive performing arts workshops.

We run regular term time and holiday Interdisciplinary Art projects for 5 – 25 year olds, from Black and other Diverse groups in; drama, dance, music, spoken word and performance.

All sessions are run by a team of specialist practitioners experienced in working with local cultures in inclusive practice and techniques. Our team of Inclusion Tutors and Safeguarding Officer work alongside the Specialist Art-form Workshop leaders and young people from our Steering Group to outreach the project thus encouraging greater accessibility and promoting wider Inclusion. Our Youth Advisors group made up of local young people helps guide and steer our practice forward, participating in every facet of project development.

The success Brixton Inclusive has had over the years is a testament to their specialist knowledge and Children and Young People intervention training.

Brixton Inclusive aims to be an enjoyable, comfortable, safe space for children and young people, to engage children in meaningful activity, to increase participation, promote personal and social development and nurture young talent, particularly amongst Disabled Black and culturally diverse young people, often excluded or struggling to engage with "mainstream activity.

Co design with our young people is the priciple of our collective cooperative learning.
