We have set up a free weekly Yoga class at Shepherds Bush Library in partnership with a Yoga charity who are providing teachers. We need some money for Yoga mats and blocks.

We have set up a free weekly Yoga class at Shepherds Bush Library in partnership with a Yoga charity who are providing teachers. We need some money for Yoga mats and blocks.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This is a way of providing free access to Yoga for the community. Shepherds Bush is a diverse area with some people on low incomes, and with chronic health, and mental health conditions. Private Yoga classes can be very expensive, which means certain groups of people in the community being excluded from the benefits that Yoga can provide.

Shepherds Bush Library is a busy public library in West London. We offer a lot of different services to the public of all ages. This particular project is already up and running thanks to the support of a Yoga charity who agreed to work with us to provide free Yoga and Meditation classes for the public. Many people who come to the classes are on a very low income, and cannot afford to buy things like Yoga blocks, straps, and mats. These things can greatly improve the progress, and ability of the Yoga student.
