The idea
We are Swansea's local online radio station that's for the city by the people who live here locally as well.
One of our biggest aims is to create an academic-like development platform, the only one of it's kind in Wales, that will offer tangible work experience & skills for young people as well as anyone else with an interest in Radio & Media to follow a career path within these industries or to have something worthwhile on their CV's when applying to a prospective employer.
With utilising our links within both of these industries, we can help candidates find higher-level opportunities in hopefully getting them placements with prospective agencies, radio stations, tabloid, etc.
We're also willing to back the local business scene by offering them a better alternative advertisement solution to promote their businesses or products.
Communities will benefit too with by having easy access to us to promote & give positive exposure to events, causes, etc as well as reporting local news.

Why it's a great idea
This radio station of ours is a passion project made up of those that have been in the industry with a combined experience of 20yrs+
This is our way of cutting into a niche market by offering something that isn't around or easily accesible.
Even though our station's demographic is of a young demographic, we don't discriminate against anyone outside of that listening in because as long as they like what is being broadcast then it can be essentially for everyone since we're a selective mutli-genre brand with offering a broad spectrum of music & content that's sure to find interest with potential listeners.
Not only that, but communities will benefit with our involement in highlighting possible issues that may not be picked up by mainstream media such as Wales Online & it's various other online news outlet brand names. Sometimes they're hard to get a hodl of so we're creating an easy way for people to access us without feeling that there's no one available or have time for them.
