More about our impact
The environment
We have endeavoured to replant the border with plants that will attract pollinators, and the denser planting will also increase the biodiversity of the border, providing protected habitat for invertebrates and insects
Activity, health and leisure
Making the park more attractive encourages more people outside into the fresh air, which is particularly beneficial to physical and mental health during this time of lockdown. We hope in due course to get more people to join the Gardening Friends and to get involved in our community activity as soon as social distancing measures ease up.
