No one Here is Me Productions Ltd exists to use theatre and other creative outlets to raise awareness and tackle taboos, currently focusing on the male mental health crisis.
Orginally produced as a stand alone play, by the tile of, No one Here is Me, in reponse to a personal loss to suicide. The research for the play highlighted a huge lack of community, compassion and connection for men. It has become the driving force of No one Here is Me Productions Ltd, to hold consistent space for men to feel held and to be able to grow in self esteem.
No one Here is Me is a powerful play created from real life interviews that highlights and exposes many of the complex issues that are affecting men’s mental health. It is a balance of loss and survival to create hope. No word in this play is fictional.
After her cousin, Gar took his own life in 2021, writer and founder, Sarah Winn set out to gain a better understanding of men’s mental health. Many survivors of suicide and depression spontaneously stepped forward to tell their story and to help expand Sarah’s understanding around this deeply complex decline in male self-worth.
Colette Robertson came onboard as a producer and co faciliator in 2024. After 2 successful arts council awards, Sarah and Colette decided to create a limited company so their work could have more focus and meaning. Colette and Sarah feel the need of connection and community in society and know the work they do holds safe spaces for people, raising awareness and giving creative outlets.
In 2024 No one here is Me was awarded a highly commended award from the Kent Mental Wellbeing awards. In 2025 No one Here is Me went on to win an award for outstanding commitment and dedication to supporting the wellbeing of others.
Location and support -
‘Cityspace’ is a community drop-in centre in Canterbury. Run by volunteers and funded by donations, it aims to be a ‘sanctuary in the city’ – a place for community, creativity and space. The cityspace drop-in is hosted by registered charity Canterbury Boiler Room (Charity No. 1152974) in Northgate in Canterbury, and is staffed by a team of volunteers from different backgrounds and walks of life who bring a wealth of experience through their professions, their life-stories and their involvement with other need-meeting organisations.
We will also be working with Talk Club to create a new regular Canterbury hub for men.
