Hello lovely followers/supporters, JoJo here, sending you a quick update about our tour and all the information you will need to attend our amazing Creative Conference on 30th November at The Exchange in North Shields. We'd love to see you there but if not, can you please like and share our links via your friends, family and social media. Things have been going really well and we are coming to the end of our tour. We have one more date to go on 9th November at WHIST in South Shields which we're really looking forward to. We have met a lot of amazing people on the way and have been overwhelmed with the support so far. We had one blip when the Storm hampered the attendance but we can't control the weather - not these days! The story so far...Workie Ticket have been touring community venues across the North Tyneside, Newcastle, South Tyneside and Northumberland throughout Autumn 2023 with their WALK THE LINE project which will culminate in a one-day conference at The Exchange, on Thursday 30th November 2023. This unique conference, delivered as part of the United Nations 16 Days of Activism to end gender based violence will include live performances by singer-songwriter, Kirsty Hall, an art exhibition by Ellen Erichsen, keynote speakers which include Anthea Sully who is the SEO of White Ribbon UK and Kayliegh Richardson who is a Family Law specialist and Associate Professor at Northumbria University, an expert panel discussion and a chance to take part in creating a ‘Walk the Line’ action plan. WALK THE LINE will be all produced, presented and delivered by survivors of abuse. Our primary focus is specifically on post- separation abuse. Discover why the ‘system is broken’ and how the likes of Family Court, CAFCASS, the Child Maintenance Service can often make it harder for survivors to break-free from the cycle of abuse. Whilst the onus is often placed on leaving the abusive relationship, what happens after you do so? There will also be a performance of the play 'I Walk the Line' - which is about post separation abuse, performed by Ashlea Sanderson and directed by Charlotte Ryder. This is our trailer - we made this with the lush Young Women's Film Academy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7qs-nQQrss To Book: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/walk-the-line-creative-conference-tickets-690853279757?aff=oddtdtcreator Please come a long and support us. There will also be stalls from Findaway and White Ribbon UK. As well as more information about the work we do in the community, using drama and theatre to educate. The conference is FREE, yes FREE because of all of your support last year and the funding from various sources including North of Tyne Combined Authority. The thing is, times are really tough but it costs nothing to just share and support us in that way. We appreciate that it might not be for everyone but this subject is so important and we'd like to continue to work on raising awareness and empowering survivors. Thanks so much! Much love, JoJo X

Walk The Line' is now fully-funded! Thanks to everyone's pledges, likes and shares. We are over the moon and overwhelmed with the support and response. We WILL be delivering interactive workshops across the North-East to raise awareness about Domestic violence, exploring post-separation abuse and the systems that support perpetrators. We also aim to engage men as part of the discussion on how to end violence against women and girls. Launch will be in April! We are keeping the campaign going until Feb. Once again, thank you so much for your support and pledges. It means so much. Love The Workie Ticket team x

Happy New Year to all of our supporters. We are nearly there with our funding goal. 60 Backers...£7673 raised....and just under £250 to go. I am so positive about this project at the start of 2023. If you can help us get to the finishing line by sharing with anyone and everyone you know who might be interested in supporting a project about domestic abuse then that would be amazing. We also have a very exciting announcement to make in the next couple of weeks so watch this space!! As always, your support is very much appreciated. JoJo x
