The idea
CCA is looking to raise £300 to be able to by safety boots for 10 volunteers, these boots will mean we can accept more volunteers who help collect and deliver furniture to people in need in the reading area.
We have recently seen an increase in refugees wanting to give back to the community and volunteer with us while they are being housed in hotels.
These funds will help us have a stock of boots that can be lent out to volunteers and then returned to us meaning we will have enough boots to last us for the foreseeable future when it comes to volunteers at our warehouse and van crews.
What we'll deliver
- We will be able to by 10 pairs of safety boots for volunteers
Why it's a great idea
Your kind donations will mean CCA can offer more volunteer spaces to people because we will have more safety equipment and it will mean volunteers with old and worn boots will be able to get a new pair.
