Although we can't currently play, coach or train, we need to ensure that both the Wirksworth and Middleton grounds are ready when we can. Meeting the expenses associated with this, plus the usual fixed costs, at a time when we have almost no income, is a huge challenge for the club. All money we can raise now will help the club to be ready when the restrictions are relaxed.

This will ensure that we are in as good a position as possible to make the most of whatever remains of the season when restrictions are relaxed. Even if no play is possible this year, at the very least it means that the grounds will not have been neglected.
