We believe in unity.
We believe in community.
We believe that everyone deserves a seat at the table.
At DiverCity Hub, we welcome those who are most at risk in our community. We work closely with refugees, disadvantaged families and other vulnerable people across Newcastle, inviting them into the fold.
We provide free English lessons, a warm meal and a friendly face. We host creative workshops to bring the community together and overcome loneliness. Our food club feeds low income families across Arthur's Hill, Benwell and Fenham and our health and wellbeing classes help provide nutritious meals and mental health support for those who need it.
The cost of living crisis is damaging to us all, but it is often disadvantaged communities who suffer most. Elderly people, refugees and asylum seekers, low income families or those who are homeless/vulnerably housed are at real risk, and we need your help to ensure that no one 'falls through the cracks'. Each month, we welcome over 1500 people and we expect this number to increase as the cost of living crisis continues.
