The vision of Willenhall Lock Stock is to create a movement in the town and borough where local musicians and performers can show case their talents to the biggest audience possible in a local mini Glastonbury festival environment. Bringing upwards of 4500 local fans together with the support of local business funders Lock Stock is a catalyst for music in the town with many more local performance venues opening and performers being seen and booked . Not only is this good for the local economy its well being effect is felt by the performers and local population . Lock Stock is a one day music festival always the first Sunday in September that has 2 large performances stages , 2 smaller stages and 24 artists/bands . The music is first class but the atmosphere always rates highly in feedback . Lock Stock has now purchased a pop up stage that it offers as a legacy to other CICs and local voluntary groups to create a year round performance area in Willenhall and the Walsall Borough .

What we'll deliver:

• 4500 attendees (500 will be children)
• Creation of a secure festival field
• Our facebook views number on average 5000 per page announcement . In August it will have 15000 views
• 2 large festival arenas with 1.4mx 3.2m stage adverting
• 24 bands/artists over 2 large stages and 2 smaller stages
• delivery of the most anticipated annual social event in the town

Why it's a great idea:

Lock Stock has the attention of Willenhall Town and surrounding area . It has and continues to raise the profile of the town , its population and increasingly the surrounding areas. Footfall in Willenhall Memorial Park grows both on the day and also repeat visits after the festival to the park once it has been discovered . Sponsors are associated in a very feel good local event and recognised for their contribution by over 4000 attendees. Bands and artists get a tremendous boost to be able to play a festival of this size and such a large audience where as they may only get 50 at a local gig they have the opportunity to perform to a friendly audience of between 1000 and 3000 local punters family and friends . As a result all the bands are viewed by prospective venues and continue through out the year to be able to perform locally . Our pop up stage will also be funded to go the local venues and support other CICs or voluntary groups through out the year .

• Confirm business sponsors April
• Confirm all suppliers and deposits April
• Early Bird Tickets on sale April
• Hire Gazebos and deposit -April -full payment August
• Hire Toilets and deposit -April -full amount August

We aim to promote local keep fit classes through music (Arm Chair Disco) local dance groups on the large stage and offer voluntary groups free space to exhibit at the festival . All of our concessions are local and we have the support of local pubs and clubs who see a dip on the day but get behind the festival before and after and we are starting to create a series of fringe events developing .
