Updates
Hi all, the additional bat surveys required by the council and report have been completed and while no bats are living in the area that will be developed, one roost was found on the far elefation. They are happy to recommend the project with a few conditions, many of which we are more than happy to do, in one case we intended on doing anyway, including more bat and bird boxes on trees, planting of fruit/berry trees and certain limitations on time of year when construction may take place. All good news, so we await for the council decision.
After requests from the council for further information, including reports on land /soil, the planning application has been validated and is now in full consultation. The application can be found at https://www.sunderland.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=QA9XR3BBMG200 You are welcome to make comments on the planning site (hopefully positive ones :) If you have any questions then please do feel free to contact us,
Once again, thank you everyone who backed this stage of our project to design and buiild a new community annexe to serve the people of the area. We have now received the pledges and are awaiting Spacehive to pass back the fees they agreed to wave - thank you to them too. The planning application has gone in this past week and we await further responses from them. Thank You
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has backed our crowdfunding effort for the current phase of the planning towards a new community Annexe and community cafe. Your generosity has led the match funders (local council and community trusts) to give an amazing level of support so that we are now fully funded for this phase with some overfunding for the next phase of the work once planning permission is reached. A massive THANK YOU so much to those from the council charitable trusts who saw the community support and saw the benefits of this project for the community to back us so generously, Once planning permision is granted we will press on with the hard task of raising the funds to complete the project, but we Praise God that in these uncertain times, so many of you have generously supported us at this phase of the works. We genuinely believe that as the world becomes a scarier place, this project will be a real blessing to our community into the future and we hope and pray that the planning permission and next phase of this project comes to fruitiong quickly.
Whoop, 40 people have pledged since fundraising began!
