The idea
What are we creating?
A practical, community-led solution to tackle fuel poverty and improve wellbeing during the cost-of-living crisis. We will distribute energy-efficient electric blankets and thermal accessories to those most in need.
Where is it happening?
At our Boundary Hall Food Co-op, a trusted community hub located in Enfield, upper Edmonton which has been running over 3 years already.
Why is it needed?
Many households in Enfield are struggling to afford heating. Cold homes increase health risks and isolation. By providing warmth essentials, we can help people stay safe, healthy, and connected.
Who will benefit?
• Food co-op members who are already vulnerable.
• Wider community residents who need support.
• Families and individuals facing fuel poverty.
