Halls for All in Leyland offers facilities for a wide range of community groups but the heating is old and inefficient. Please help us to install new boilers so we can warmly welcome young and old.
In our Halls for All facility on Moss Lane Leyland we will fit two new and efficient gas boilers, replacing the current 1982 models. This will enable us to offer a warm environment to the wide range of community groups that use our three indoor spaces. Our main hall has a fully equipped stage and several dramatic performances are put on each year involving all local age groups. The hall is also used for family events and meetings of large groups of people for entertainment, education, or just to have fun. Our other hall is used by similar but smaller groups and we also have a more intimate meeting room for quieter activities. Our halls welcome is inclusive to all ages, abilities and identities.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Halls for All will be warm in the winter months and this will especially help the more vulnerable members of the local community, the very young and the very old, as well as those with very special needs. The costs to any user group can then be kept down to a manageable level. Our buildings will also be more environmentally friendly than they currently are.
