More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

I think the visit to the farm made the kids aware of the importance of being kind to animals and the relationship that taking care of our environment has on animal habitats.

The local economy

The local economy

We used the funds raised to donate to Vauxhall City Farm, which will go towards helping the farm run and buy food for the animals.

The kids gained an appreciation for animals and the benefit of city farms. They also said they felt more relaxed and realised that living in London may be the cause of some of their stress and that going out to nature can be helpful.

Arts, culture & heritage

We had such a good experience that we are planning other days out which might have a relaxing or therapeutic affect on our young people.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

It got the kids out of the classroom and walking around. It was probably the most they stood or walked in a day.
