Updates
Thank you all for your wonderful support for the Vine Road Project. If you are interested in furthering your support, we are always looking for volunteers for the project. We are hoping to grow our community Working Group, which will meet to review designs, give input, and act as ambassadors for the project in the community. We are also looking for volunteers to help grow our skating community. Now that we have our temporary ramps, we are looking for volunteers to oversee skate sessions (no skating experience needed!). If you are interested in either of these opportunities, or would like to volunteer with the project in a different way, please feel free to reach out to Eliza, or email [email protected]
We have had a wonderful year at Vine Road since our Space hive fundraising effort! In January, Eliza joined the BCL team to serve as the Project Manger for the Vine Road Project. We have also been able to further develop our community around skating, with a tour of local skate parks in June and the construction of skate ramps this August. The skate ramps are now open for drop-in sessions every Tuesday from 2-4, and Sunday from 11:30-4:30 (these times are subject to weather and staffing). We are also asking for further community input on the Paddling Pool and Playgrounds. If you have not already, please submit your thoughts!
