Rudheath Parish Council has a lease on The Venue Community Centre and the enthusiastic member of the council want to see The Venue grow to meet the needs of the community. There are 11 councillors who give their time freely for the benefit of the wider community because they care about the people of Rudheath.
Two members run a community cafe on Monday and Thursday serving fresh home made food as well as providing a space for people to get together for a chat. The Venue is a litter picking hub where pickers and bags can be borrowed and recently the Veenue has become a collection point for the Northwich Foodbank.
Lots of activities are put on by the Parish Council including monthly music nights, monthly multi-agency surgeries where advice is available about a range of isssues including housing, benefits, training and much more. There is also a monthly fundraiser for local and national charities, occasional events such as Christmas fair, Easter activities, Halloween disco with the local PCSOs and family events all organised by the Parish Council.
