Great Witley Church is a Church of England Church and is often described as the most amazing church in the country. The sheer opulence of the interior, with painted windows, ceiling paintings and walls covered in gold stucco, attracts visitors from near and far. With the adjacent Witley Court and The Garden Tearooms it makes for a perfect day out. The only drawback has been the access road which for years has been deteriorating to a state where only the brave would venture up it. We really want people to visit this fantastic place and having a safe access road will make it better for everyone. The church is in a parish of three churches run by Shrawly and The Witleys Parochial Church Council. We are also part of Four Rivers Churches Group which includes 2 churches in Abberley and 4 in Teme Valley North. Priest in Charge is David Morris who joined us last year and lives in the Rectory in Great Witley.
