Thank you for being patient.... The project has been quietly progressing through these months ableit slower than first anticipated due to ramifications of covid as well as unforseen personal issues & situations. The Bookery Gallery in Church Street will be hosting some of my live Translation performances of which you will be invited as well as able to participate if you wish. There will also be a show of the 10 Translations once they are all painted for you to see which will complete this project. Good things are worth waiting for... Due to supposed Refurbishments at the Library the 12th February performance had to be cancelled. I have just spoken with them and am looking to do the next performance on the 19th. I'll update you as soon as I get confirmation with the exact information. It was an Absolute pleasure to welcome people today to experience a translation with me. The 2 hours were a perfect mix of introducing the format and guidelines I use, sitting down and making the initial drawing, explaining it back to the person in order they could see it through my eyes and generally catching up with each others lives. It's so true that sometimes and on occasion... LESS IS MORE... Thank you to The Church Street Library for renting me a great space and for being a host next January where not only will I have another workshop there will also be 10 Sizable Images of my paintings for the Community to enjoy. This Saturday 18th December... Church Street Library 67-69 Church Street Marylebone NW8 8EU 12.30-2.30 Masks will be worn 40 seats. This will be the 1st of 4 Live Art Performances that I will do. Showing the process as well as inviting you if you would like to sample a translation with me ...the opportunity to have one which will last 10 mins. This photo was an event I had earlier in the year. The 2 chairs will be back to back for myself and one for possibly you, we will have an audience, which will also be made up of you guys, different nationalities. If you have little English you may have your words translated by a translater, I will then translate to art Age: 16 years and above Please arrive early as the door closes at 12.30 Send me a little email if you wish to attend and let me know how many seats you would like.
