The cafe is used for many different reasons ; To serve the homeless in the community with a different set of volunteers. Youth Groups in the evening and by Web special needs group twice a month as a 'chat cafe' area. The Café is also used by the volunteers to eat lunch or have refreshements during the course of their work, a place to interact and boost self esteem and wellbeing. There are many elderly people who use the cafe and it is an important service to address loneliness and isolation. People often comment on the warmth they feel when they enter the cafe area.
