This project was funded on 11 Apr 2018!

We want to kick off a Community Funded investment project to bring high speed fibre broadband into the Radius, Wandsworth development (Osiers Road and Knightley Walk) which will also benefit other nearby residential and commercial areas including the nearby Riverside quarter. This project will be in partnership with BT Openreach and will prevent us continuing to miss out on high speed fibre broadband that most other homes in London have access to as standard. It should be noted that there are currently no plans to have our cabinet upgraded as part of any other planned public schemes. This will be an investment to bring internet service up to date and future proof our homes and business by allowing us to select any commercial provider in the marketplace.

What we'll deliver:

  • Openreach will upgrade the cabinet (just across from Sainsbury's) giving us fibre and speeds up to 80 Mbps

Why it's a great idea:

Leaseholders and business owners pulling together to invest in the future of their business and property. The benefits of this project are: · Significantly faster internet (·Slow internet can reduce house prices) · Increased choice of internet providers

Steps to get it done:

  • Contracting entity for Residents Associations found
  • 100% funding reached
  • Contract Signed
  • Exchange enabled and open for orders
