oH Foundation is an independent social enterprise committed to supporting the growth and development of the creative industries in Chester.

Located at 22 Bridge Street in Chester, oH comprises of studio atelier, concept store, event space, and cafe and is a home of the oH Collective Designers.

Design and sustainability ( this one on many levels including, social and community-driven initiatives) are at the centre of the oH Universe.

The foundation is supporting and mentoring over 33 designers at this point: fashion makers and creatives, ceramists, product designers, illustrators, and fine artists. We also have a chef, yoga teacher and film-maker.

Start-ups, take-ups and scale-ups of every background and at different stages in their life, with individual needs and ideas for their business.

We grow daily, with 30 applications for the Collective and 40 applications for work placement a month.

We just turned 6 months and celebrated with the launch of three new initiatives for our Foundation:

1. the oH Foundation Studio Equipment Fund, aims to raise £21,500 for the essential gear for the makers in our studio.

2. Masterclass programme, targeting the Collective Designers but open to the public

3. Guide to independent Chester, run by the next generation of Cestrians, up to 30 years old, so this audience can share with us how they see Chester and what is important for them in the city.
