Improve, repair and increase our facilities to provide FREE American Flag Football to all 8 to 16 year olds in Thanet and surrounding areas...
Just over a year ago, we had the vision of providing Free American Flag Football training sessions, Free memberships to BAFA (British American Football Association) and Free training kit to all children aged 7 to 14... We created a Spacehive Crowdfunder and managed to raise the funds to turn the vison into a reality... In the past year, with the help of that money raised, we have provided all of these things and more... We now run 3 x Free training sessions per week for 7 to 16 year olds. We have a home pitch with changing rooms. In our first ever tournament, we were invited to play against 5 of the best u14 teams in the South East... WE WON IT :) You can help us continue this amazing story for the children and young people that are already benefiting and for many many more.

Why it's a great idea:
Thanet is one of the South Easts most deprived areas. It should not be down to children and young peoples financial situation as to whether they can partake and develop in a team sport. It will be exactly these people who will benefit in both physical and mental wellbeing.

VolunteerThe Thanet Mustangs are a non-profit community amateur sports club, providing American Flag Football training for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 16... Just over a year ago, we created a had the dream of providing Until now, and for the last years, we have been running weekly training sessions in Thanet for home educated children... After seeing what an amazing contribution this has had to the participants, both physically and mentally, we feel compelled to grow and include as many children and young people in Thanet as possible, especially those who are disadvantaged... This sport is, by far, the most inclusive team sport I have experienced and on a personal level has helped my Son immensely...
