The idea
To further the facilities at Abingworth Football Ground to encourage more participants in the 6-9 year old age groups we are looking to add age appropriate goals to the ground for use by all the community when the club is closed.
What we'll deliver
- Put in place new mini-soccer goals
- Fit new benches by the kitchen for parents
Why it's a great idea
This will help more children to enjoy their sporting activity in a safe environment with age appropriate equipment to develop their technical skills.
By improving the facilities we can increase the number of volunteer roles we can offer to the village.
Steps to get it done
- Official opening of the new football ground
- Addition of the min-soccer goals
- Installation of the picnic benches
