Our project has reduced the need for GP visits and mental health services

One person has started a counselling course. Several people have returned to work. 6 people have so far benefitted fro BYIB training, another 9 will be trainined.

We have had 3000 books made 2.500 have been distributed. People constantly ask for books. People can see the benefit of art as a means of communication to self and others. Our books and exhibitions rise awareness of the specifiv pain and suffering experienced by anyone affected by suicide

Activity, health and leisure

Our project promotes good emotional well being through activities and connection with others. This creates better physical health in terms of not holding stress in the body. We have outdoor days, walks and foraging and people from our group have become regulars at foraging days in Nelson
