The idea
St Paul's Church & Centre is used for both church and non church events in the community.
Our aim is to improve and provide a fit for purpose disabled access by providing an automatic entrance for the disabled and their carers and parents with push chairs/buggies.
This will be of benefit to over 300 people every week
(comprising of the disabled both young and old, mums and toddlers on pushchairs, those struggling to walk, those on wheel chairs, those taking part in our activities for the community to combat social isolation and build a stronger community and activities provided by other groups such Say Aphasia, those who have suffered stroke ).
This is part of a larger project which we have decided to do in phases because of the cost. The overall project will provide a fit for purpose disable access.
