About the Project Creator
St Paul’s church and parish centre is a registered charity (No. 1133785) situated near the Chichester Festival Theatre, just to the north of the city centre. The church and parish centre are open every day to all the community. It is very much used for community events and local activities, for example the NHS Blood Transfusion Service and the local parliamentary elections. The main church is used for Christian worship but is also a popular venue for secular activities including meetings, music examinations, and (musical) concerts. The parish centre is already used for many varied purposes, with and without any religious element. Increased, better quality, flexible space, which is accessible to all, will better meet the needs of the community we seek to serve. Our service to the community includes a weekly refugee drop in, weekly homeless breakfast, weekly parent and toddlers, elderly meet and socialisation group etc.
