Dear Friend. Come and celebrate our new garden on Sunday 10th October at 5pm for tea and cakes and at 6pm for music and readings on a garden theme. RSVP to priest.standrews.leytonstone@gmail with numbers would be helpful if possible. I am delighted to say that the garden and play area are now completed, with only the painting of the fence and the back 'community tool library' yet to be completed. Beth who has masterminded the project and done the work with her team is busy working on a Chelsea Garden show project for a few weeks! We are so grateful for your help and your support. Already some of the local children have been enjoying the stepping logs and walkway in the play area. Thank you Fr Paul
Dear Friends We are delighted that the actual work on the garden will be able to begin in September this year. There are a number of preparations to be done first and we are already well underway with them. I do hope that once the work is done you will be able to join us for an outdoor celebration sometime in September or October. I will invite you nearer the time when we have a date decided. You should also have received an email indicating that your direct debit mandate has been cancelled, do let me know if that has not come through. Once again thank you so much for supporting this exciting project. Paul
Thank you so much for supporting our exciting community garden project. We have also received an additional £825 from Waltham Forest Council Community funding. Can I ask that if you are a UK tax payer you consider filling in a gift aid form (below) so the we can claim 22% from HMRC in addition to your pledge? This will make an enormous difference to our final income at no extra cost to you and will enable us to ensure the ongoing care of the garden and an exciting garden education project with some of our community groups. Thank you. Please send the following details to our church treasurer, Ian .... [email protected] GIFT AID DECLARATION I declare that I am a UK tax payer. Please treat as Gift Aid donations all qualifying gifts of money made from the date of this declaration and in the past four years. I am a UK taxpayer and I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
