Swansea city centre has a large area of flat roofs that are currently wasted space. The idea is to install solar panels on these spaces so that we can make Swansea city centre an urban solar farm.

Swansea Business Improvement District was launched in 2006 and was the first BID in Wales and thr 6th in the UK. It is now one of the longest serving and most respected BIDs in the UK.
A BID role is very diverse but primarily we work towards making the BID area (swansea city centre) a better place to work, play, live and shop. We have three core areas of work:
Welcoming and Enhancing
Promoting and Supporting
Representing and Influencing
The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
The team responsible for building or installing the project.
