More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

We were successful in planting and growing a number of food products which were used by members of the community. We have a bee hive and planted wild flowers which helped the bees as well as our small wildlife pond.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

Because of the synergy created by the allotment we have now teamed with a company called PLT Training who have agreed to carry out training courses for Veterans, either at our premises or at theirs, with a view to helping the Veterans into employment.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

We have succeeded in installing a cabin for the Volunteers, Veterans and gardeners with a kitchen, chairs and tables where they can meet and relax. Training courses can be run from here when required.
