We had 4 people volunteer across the two sewing hubs. One persona shared “I now have more confidence to take in alteration jobs from my friends and family, this could turn into a small business as my confidence builds.”

Everyone learnt new sewing techniques which they can use for their creative mental health and wellbeing.,

The classes have provided an opportunity for people to learn and new skill and build their self-esteem, benefiting their mental health. One lady said “coming to the sewing class has got me out of the house and meant I have made new friends.”
