The idea
We’re creating a calm, inclusive, sensory-friendly hub in Louth for children and young adults with additional needs—a space where they can feel safe, supported, and truly themselves.
C.H.A.S.E. (Create Hope And Safe Environments) is a not-for-profit, parent-led initiative that will provide:
Two fully equipped sensory rooms to help reduce anxiety and support emotional regulation
A respite area where young people can unwind in a safe, adapted environment
A welcoming space for parents and carers to connect, rest, and find community
Inclusive activities and support programmes tailored to each individual’s needs
We have secured an empty premises in Louth and are self-funding as much as we can, but we need your help to bring it to life. The funds raised will go directly towards sensory equipment, calming furnishings, accessibility adaptations, and creating a warm, inclusive space for the entire family.
What we'll deliver
- Improving mental health within the community
- Dedicated safe spaces
- A wide supportive network for all disabilities and needs.
- Two fully equipped sensory rooms
- Respite

Why it's a great idea
Our project will create a safe, sensory-friendly hub in Louth where children and young adults with additional needs can relax, self-regulate, and feel understood. The space will feature two sensory rooms, a calm area for emotional support, and inclusive activities that promote confidence, communication, and well-being.
It will also support parents and carers by offering a welcoming environment where they can rest, connect with others, and access guidance without judgment.
This hub will reduce isolation, provide practical respite, and promote a stronger sense of community. Through partnerships with schools, professionals, and local services, we will help raise awareness and build a more inclusive future for families in our area.
Led by parents with lived experience and driven by a not-for-profit mission, C.H.A.S.E. is shaped by real stories and real needs.
