World Youth Organization (WYO) is charity focusing on advancing education for young people since 2017. We envision a world where every young person receives a well-rounded education gaining the resilience to overcome the challenges they face, the skills to succeed and the opportunity to contribute to their society. We are on a mission to prepare young people for life by ensuring they get the support, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed.
Our aim is to enrich the schooling of young people by delivering our extra-curricular educational workshops across England and Wales. We are currently focusing on mental health education as this is an incredibly trying time for young people, especially post-pandemic.
We look to collaborate with local councils, partner and work with local schools to deliver our workshops, as well as accrediting schools. A broader goal is to continue the campaign and push for a change in the curriculum to include more focus on mental health. As well as schools being able to reconise signs of where students might be vulnerable or need help.
We have already set in motion a new wave to educate and improve awareness in young students from local inner city boroughs in London on issues realting to mental health.
