The environment
Our project used environmentally friendly materials to complete the task.
The local economy
The Centre is at the front of Community Activities, during the winter months, the hall will be used as a warm space for people to come and have a warm drink or meal if they maybe cannot afford to do this at home.
Volunteering, jobs & education
The centre relies on volunteers to keep its doors open. We are proud of all of our volunteers, however big or small their contribution maybe. Having the new floor has bought new people through and shows what else we offer as a Centre.
Arts, culture & heritage
Our shows now take place twice a month, and attract people from all over the area and some from outside. We continue to offer shows at a reduced price and having a safe floor for people to be on has made such a difference.
Activity, health and leisure
The exercise classes continue to run here each week, with the addition of chair yoga and also another fitness class during the winter months.
