The Latest from Holme Valley Riverside Way Revamp

We are proud to have completed the Phase 1 Riverside Way Revamp Project!

We have installed hundreds of waymarking disks along the whole length of the route (9.6 miles).

During the “Riverside Way Revamp” project we managed to carry out remedial work at 21 locations. These works included the installation of a new boardwalk at Thongsbridge, installation of 80 metres of flexipave (surfacing improvement) at Primrose Hill, installation of revetment board and stone surfacing at Holmfirth, installation of 9 new way marker posts (throughout the route), vegetation management (at a number of sites along the route) and the installation of a stone causeway at Thongsbridge.

We carried out 14 tasks with volunteers to help improve the route. A total of 69 people helped, and these volunteers contributed a total of 160 hours.
