Trikhon Theatre is dedicated to working with and for communities, particularly their local community of Deptford. In Vietnamese Trikhon means 'a particular wisdom to complete something'. Through our work we are interested in taking you on a journey, bringing you close up to the action, wrapping our arms around you with tantalizing smells, tastes and textures, whilst still taking you through a powerful and hard hitting story. We will turn your research seminars into an electrifying playground, fan up your dull exhibitions with herbs and spices and transform your boring training days into an audio tour walk. All of our shows and works carry this unique haul mark, so be ready to experience more than what you bargained for.
Trikhon is run by Artistic Director Anna Nguyen; Anna is a British Vietnamese Director and Theatre Deviser. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Collaborative and Devised Theatre course. She originally trained as an Actor, with a specialized skill in voice work and devised theatre. On graduating Anna was picked up by Kristine Landon Smith from Tamasha Theatre as a young director and was given directorial training.
