Ribble Valley Jazz and Blues Festival line-up revealed
Lancashire TelegraphThere will be over 40 free live gigs at over 20 venues around Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley throughout the weekend offering something for everyone.\n\nAnd organiser have lined up a series of headline performances featuring some of the leading names on the British jazz and blues scene.

The environment
We kept it local, using local musicians as well as International Headliners.
The local economy
6000 audience attended the festival - spending and shopping in the local area. 27 local venues took part and increased their income. 25 local young musicians under the age of 20 were involved in paid gigs.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We have 30+ volunteers who helped out at the festival.
Arts, culture & heritage
Ribble Valley Jazz and Blues brought new and exciting music into the valley. It introduced music to new audiences and brought national and international artists into the Ribble Valley.
Activity, health and leisure
People got involved. Dancing is good exercise and healthy. Audiences listened to music.
