Renovation of Crowton Millennium Green
We wish to sensitively renovate our Millennium Green in order to improve access for all users, to provide a new pathway, repair existing infrastructure and enhance the space for the whole community.
About the Project Creator
Hello, we are the Trustees of Crowton Millennium Green. You may already know us as we all live locally and are also members of Crowton Parish Council. Tracey, Jenny, Ross, Richard, Ralph, Liz, Bob, Roger and Joel thank you for reading thus far and for your interest in this project. We really appreciate your time. We all know that the Millennium Green is a fantastic community space and recently we have concentrated our efforts in supporting our group of volunteers who help to manage the area with tasks such as coppicing, removal of himalayan balsam, creating wildlife habitats, working to clear the stream and more. As this work has progressed we recognise that the infrastructure on the site requires refurbishing. Unfortunately, funds are low and we urgently need your help. Cheshire West Council along with Spacehive have designed this platform as a way to financially support local projects. We wish to engage with them to get this project off the ground and to do so we need to "crowdfund" for funding for the renovation of the site. Crowton and the surrounding areas have a great history of supporting local initiatives; from the Millennium Green in the year 2000 to the defibrillator purchases in 2022 and we really hope that our generous community will come together to support us once again. The Trustees thank you in advance for your help, particularly when we are all feeling the pinch during these difficult times . We welcome any comments, queries or indeed offers of support at anytime and so please know that you are welcome to contact us via Tracey the Parish Clerk on [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.
