The RAF Air Cadets offer young people exciting opportunities for personal and professional development. We’re an inclusive organisation that cares about helping young people reach their potential.
The RAF Air Cadets teach young people from all backgrounds basic military skills, map reading, radio communications, teamwork, leadership and many others skills which are useful for further eduction, training or work.
As a voluntary organisation committed to helping young people, we have supporting and developing our Cadets at the heart of what we do in the Air Cadet Organisation.
Are aims are:
- To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
- To provide training which will be useful both in the Services and in civilian life.
- To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership.
We parade twice a week with regular activies at the weekend, We are luckly to be located on a operational RAF Station and we want to create a RAF Air Cadet hub for neighburing Squadrons to utilise.
