Help voluntary cat rescue in Redbridge

We are dedicated volunteers in Redbridge, seeking funds to increase our ability to rescue, neuter, treat and care for the increasing number of homeless cats. Particularly through a fostering campaign.

Want to help?

We need people to offer skills, time or resources to develop this project. Check what’s needed below, then click ‘Volunteer’ to get involved.

  • Volunteers needed to help with the construction of outdoor garden enclosure. Skills and tools welcomed. We need to fix posts into the ground, then attach the fittings and netting. Likely to need drills, masonry bits, staple gun and a saw.
  • Foster homes to care for animals coming into our charity. It requires the space, possibly for a cage, and the time to feed, clean and socialise the rescue cat or kittens. All equipment, food and litter can be provided, but we welcome any donations.
  • Drivers to take cats (and possibly their fosterers) to and from the vets or deliver fostering supplies. No handling will be required as cats will be in secure baskets. Some of our existing volunteers sadly do not drive.
  • Fundraising is always needed to pay vet bills. We need volunteers to staff table top sales/craft fairs or host fundraising events like bake sales, coffee mornings or any other amazing ideas! We have some stock waiting to be sold but welcome donations
  • We would also welcome any cat rescuers who could help with trapping stray and feral cats. This role is more involved but we could provide training or shadowing experience.

Hi I have a car and can offer to transport cats when I am free. I live in E12 I really wish I could foster cats whilst you find their forever homes. Unfortunately my cat has cancer and is going through chemo I can't risk her being passed on any illness whilst her immune system is already low.

My love for cats is honestly indescribable — I have two of my own and they mean the world to me. I have a lot of free time right now and really want to use it doing something good for cats in Ilford. I’m happy to help feed and care for community cats, assist with TNR efforts, and even foster kittens or shy cats if needed. I just want to give these amazing animals some love and support because they deserve it.
