The idea
During the pandemic, our community realised what a special place this is to live! We have come together to show our community spirit through a scarecrow festival, VE day celebrations as well as the amazing support we showed one another during such a difficult time.
We are now planning to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with an afternoon tea street party. We are fortunate to have a small area of grass that we have used in the past for community events.
The neighbours have created a small working party to tidy this area up and invited everyone living within our catchment area to come together to celebrate the day in style.
What we'll deliver
- Purchase a large gazebo that we can use for neighbourhood gatherings and for use privately by our residents
- Buy decorations to Make the neighbourhood festive
