Pavilion Preschool is a place of FUN! Were life long childhood memories are made. A place were the passionate staff and dedicated parenst pull togther to make the best experince for the chilren who attend.
Pavilion was estabished in 1969 by six local mums who wanted a play group for their own families. Pretty quickly the word spead and the playgroup was well attended. Pavilion playgroup settled in Dundonald Road in 1973, in the changing rooms of the community tennis courts, land that was gifted to the Aigburth Social Guild in 1918. In the 1980's the tennis courts were closed and the parents and trusteess fought to keep the preschool open and were gifted a strip of land by the property developer for community use. Pavilion has operated from a second hand portakabin classroom on this site ever since. We are a registered charity, registered with OFSTED. We have a strong and dediacted team of 10 trustees and excellent highly qualified staff of 11. Our reputation is strong, we have waiting lists for preschool places and for our wrap around care, which we have yet to even open! We are a family and we put children first, with a caring and nurturing enviromment. We have a collective love for what we do, which is why we are now 50 years old and we desire to remain open for many many more years.
