Make a difference in Redbridge

To celebrate the Queens 70th Jubilee, we would like to have a party in Loxford Park, to include all diversities and to celebrate all diversities and all communities.
Party in the park would have Bollywood dancers, Henna painting, egg and spoon races for adults and kids, chess and connect 4 games, food (ie sandwiches & cakes), red, white and blue planted flowers & music. We would like to have a queens head memorial mural with fingerprints of all those attending then mounted to celebrate the jubilee. In Loxford the depravity is well known and many families do not have ready access to events on their doorstep, which means they will have to travel. This event will be fun and provide attendees with a well being and a sense of community and inclusion. There will be food which will be free of charge, to assist those that live in sheltered accommodation and low income families. This event will be a great get together for all of Redbridge’s communities, which will improve community involvement. Seeing what Friends of Loxford are helping with in the community will encourage what can be done by volunteering.
