Westerley Showband
Our Main Aim is to provide a musical outlet for our members.
Our Secondary Aim is to provide enjoyable and inspiring music for the community.
We try to achieve these aims by arranging rehearsals and concerts where our members can meet and enjoy playing music together. Naturally we try and make the performance level as high as we can. However at the same time we also offer help and encouragement to less experienced members so that they can improve. For a similar purpose we also run a Training Band.
Our community involvement usually entails playing at local fund-raising functions. We sometimes play for special groups too such as at schools residential homes etc.
