Our programme will offer separate weekly activities for women and girls and older people.
We'll provide a mixture of boxing-based activity that is aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing including circuit training, boxercise and working as a team activity. Within each session we will also focus on social interaction and participants getting to know each other, this will include catch ups before we start and also at the end of each session.
The aim of the social sessions is not only that participants get to know each other but to also support them to become more confident and comfortable within the session/environment. As well as focusing on the health benefits we will also use this programme to raise awareness of other opportunities locally that focus on women/girls and older people.
Our aim is to remove barriers & reach women, girls and older residents who are not engaged within their community, facing isolation and who are not active both physically and socially.

Throughout delivery we will continually highlight the benefit of this programme to the local community alongside the many partners we are and will be working alongside.
Especially targeting of those who are or have been isolated and not engaged within their community on a long-term basis.
