Visit Northwich is a brand that promotes Northwich Town Centre, it is managed by Northwich BID, and supported by Northwich Town Council, Cheshire West & Chester Council, Barons Quay and Rotary in Northwich.

Groundwork CLM are the accountable body for Northwich Business Improvement District (BID). Groundwork is a not-for-profit environmental Trust established in Cheshire in 1983. It has expanded to become a UK wide federation of charitable trusts. The BID represents businesses in Northwich town centre, all of which pay an additional levy on top of their business rates, this money is ring fenced and spent on services above an beyond what the local authority provides.

The Northwich Business Improvement District has been operating since September 2014:

Investing in additional projects and services that enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of Northwich so that Northwich businesses is supported to grow and prosper.
Developing a progressive marketing strategy and brand for Northwich that attracts local residents to spend in Northwich, whilst drawing more visitors to our heritage rich town.
Creating a cleaner, safer and more accessible town centre that complements our built and natural heritage
Improving communications and joint working between the public and private sector, with the principle aim of attracting greater investment and spend into Northwich.
Delivering projects and services that attract and retain high quality retail, industrial, commercial and professional businesses and enhancing the overall ‘pull’ of Northwich as a location to do business.
Enhancing the quality of life for all by improving amenities and access to the Town Centre.

Northwich BID works alongside partners Northwich Town Council and Rotary in Northwich to deliver a variety of enhanced services to the town centre, with events & festivals being key to the success of the town.

Project Owner: Visit Northwich The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
