North Nibley Play Area Group is a small, volunteer-led community group made up of local parents, parish councillors and residents who want to improve play facilities in the village.
We are working closely with North Nibley Parish Council, the village school, local families and play specialists to deliver a new play area that better meets the needs of older children, while remaining welcoming for younger children and families too.
Our aim is simple: to create a safe, free and welcoming place where children can play, be active and spend time with friends close to home. The project has been shaped through consultation with children at the village school, community discussions and practical advice from play specialists, helping us agree a realistic plan that fits the playing field and available budget.
We are running this Spacehive campaign to help fund part of Phase 2, including the new Origin Multiplay Unit and benches. Every pledge will go directly towards expanding the play area and creating a long-lasting community space for North Nibley.
