The idea
Ngui Connect is a digital platform that helps diaspora families organise traditional events such as funerals, weddings, and memorials in the West and North-West of Cameroon. Based in Walsall, we connect users with trusted local service providers — including caterers, decorators, venues, and musicians — while also offering cultural calendars and event guidance. Many diaspora families struggle to contribute or participate in meaningful ways when events happen back home. Ngui Connect solves this by bridging the gap between cultures, generations, and locations. It also supports local economic growth by promoting service providers. With your support, we’ll launch the first version of the platform, onboard community partners, and offer families a simple, respectful way to stay connected to their traditions.
